I am in private practice specializing in work with couples in committed relationships and families with teens. As our culture moves at a faster pace some couples and families find themselves losing touch with each other and their children.

As we work ourselves into oblivion trying to keep heads above water, partner and family fall to the bottom of the priority list. The focus of my practice is to take a look at presenting problems as well as all the good things that are happening in the relationship, and to assist in formulating personal and mutual goals to bring the relationships back into balance.

I look for healthy behaviors and encourage those. Some people need to learn listening skills, and new ways to cope. I find that learning about male/female differences is of great interest to marriage partners.

I personally have been married for 45 years and am well acquainted with the "swamp experiences" as well as the "mountaintop." The best news is that "everything changes." Most types of insurance accepted. Sliding scale for those without insurance
