From twenty years of working with couples and families, I have learned that you would rather handle your problems privately, but sometimes it helps tremendously to see an expert. I respect and honor your commitment to each other, your concerns about your relationship, and the discomforts you share privately with me. I believe that it is the relationships we have with each other that determine our peace of mind and quality of life. It is through relating more clearly with each other that we can improve our lives. Treatment with me will focus on communication, family history, and patterns of behavior that are causing concern. Together, we can improve communication, reduce the amount of tension you are experiencing, and find ways to establish lasting understanding and intimacy as a couple. Therapy is hard work, and it is not quick and magical, but it is worthwhile.
We can plan to meet on a weekly basis, and I can provide a receipt that you can use for reimbursement from your insurance company. My fee is reasonable and I am available during the day, weeknights and often on weekends.I gladly work with engaged couples, unmarried couples and gay couples.
