When you and your partner or spouse enter into relationship therapy with me, I view your relationship as the client in the room. My intention is to serve as advocate for your relationship by helping you heal the ruptures that have caused disconnection and discord.

Together we will seek to discover where those ruptures have occurred, and work to repair them in ways that serve to reconnect you to each other. Most often when these ruptures occur, something inside wants to protect us in ways that keep us disconnected from our partner or spouse. Another way to say this is to say that we begin to "put up walls" between each other, and then often can't seem to break out of that pattern, which in turn causes us feel increasingly more distant in relation to each other.

I have the skills to help you discover how to break out of these disconnecting patterns, heal the ruptures, and communicate with each other in connecting, supportive, and loving ways. I look forward to discussing how I may be of help to you.
