These heart-wrenching statistics: 90% of divorcing couples don’t receive even one hour of marital therapy, 2/3 of divorces do not involve high-conflict marriages, children of divorce are twice as likely to divorce (affecting grandchildren too) and 2/3 of divorces occur within the first 10 years of marriage.
My specialties are: saving couples on-the-brink, marital rescue after infidelity, reviving empty-nester marriages, family size decision-making [children have a profound effect on marriage] and Co-Parenting implementer. I am married for 43 years, father of 4 grown children, and counseling couples in New York City and New Jersey since 1980 with an 80% success rate in saving their marriages on the brink.
I authored the book, “Creating Your Perfect Family Size: How to Make an Informed Decision About Having a Baby” (Wiley). I conduct therapy sessions via Zoom, Skype, Google Plus, and provide phone-coaching. I offer one-day intensives, a Shalom Bayis premarital curriculum, and have Sunday and evening hours. I am a Certified Discernment Counselor and I serve as a recovery therapist for the Beyond Affairs Network. I am a Professor for the Touro Graduate School of Social Work (NYC), seminar presenter for Nefesh International, and listed on the National Registry of Marriage Friendly Therapists.
